Ukraine may sever diplomatic relations with Russia as early as Thursday
The severance of diplomatic relations with Russia will be an inevitable consequence of the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the law on the reintegration of Donbass in its final version, in which the Russian Federation will be recognized as an aggressor country.
This was stated today on the Ukrainian TV channel "112" by the Ukrainian MP from the Poroshenko Bloc, Ivan Vynnyk, as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

“If we recognize Russia as an aggressor country on Thursday, the executive branch will have no choice but to sever diplomatic relations. There is not a single case in the world where good neighborly relations in the form of diplomatic relations continue to be maintained when aggression is being carried out, and in fact a war against the country,” Vinnik said.
He claims that the issue of severing diplomatic relations is still being considered by the relevant committee of the Ukrainian parliament.
“This will in no way affect the citizens of Ukraine. The attitude towards them in the Russian Federation is now extremely negative. Therefore, we can say that the Russian Federation is an aggressor against Ukraine not only in a military sense, but also in a diplomatic sense,” Vinnik said.
