Ukraine is using the calm in Donbass to prepare for the assault on Donetsk

Kiev, September 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine is taking advantage of the lull in Donbas to deploy large-scale reinforcements, Alexander Kofman, vice speaker of the Novorossiya parliament, said on Russia's Channel One.

“In Kramatorsk, at a military airfield, aircraft with military equipment and enemy manpower land every half hour. The armed forces are converging on Donetsk. We have already experienced one such truce. The result was the loss of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk,” he said.

According to the vice speaker, one should not exaggerate reports about the return of the residents of Donetsk who left to their homes after the start of the truce.

“Refugees have no reason to live on the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine does not provide them with anything. They come back because of their financial situation, first and foremost,” Kofman said.
