Ukraine and the US continue to trade with Russia despite sanctions
Despite the sanctions, Ukraine and the United States entered the top ranking for foreign trade in civilian high-tech products with Russia in 2015–2019, published by the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecasting.
As the Kommersant newspaper writes today, the list of key partners of the Russian Federation includes not only China and India, but also the USA, Germany, the Czech Republic, France and Ukraine.
Computers and their components, medical equipment and machines, photo and video cameras are supplied from Asia to Russia.
The most significant sales markets for the Russian Federation are Algeria and Egypt, Iran (irregular supplies of base stations, radar equipment, in the past - fuel rods and uranium), Uzbekistan (remotes and panels for electrical equipment, medicines and vaccines), Bulgaria and Slovakia (more than 90% export - fuel elements). Despite the decline, exports to Ukraine remain important.
