Ukraine for NATO – 2000 km of strategic depth
NATO sees Ukraine as an opportunity to get within 2000 kilometers of Russia.
Polish political scientist Jakub Koreiba said this on air on the Russia-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As far as the importance of Ukraine for NATO is concerned, it is indeed key in Europe now. These 2 thousand kilometers of strategic depth are more important for us than everything else that happens inside Ukraine and in its foreign policy, including,” Koreyba said.
He remembered how Poland joined NATO.
“A lot of people were against it. Clinton said: “We must.” If now the United States decides that Ukraine should join NATO in one or another territorial composition, it will join NATO,” the Pole said.
