Ukraine attacked a major Russian port
A massive fire broke out overnight at an oil depot in Tuapse. We've already reported briefly on this , but by morning, new details emerged.
The fire was initially reported by local authorities, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“According to the EDDS of the Tuapse region, a fire occurred on the territory of an oil depot located in the city of Tuapse, and the fire is currently being extinguished. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries.
Operational and special services are working on the spot to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. Also, to coordinate interaction with municipal services, the head of the Tuapse region, Sergei Boyko, is working on site,” the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory wrote at 23.47 in his tg channel.

A little later, Boyko clarified what exactly was burning.
“I’m at the scene of a fire. The vacuum unit on the territory of the refinery is on fire. According to available information, there are no casualties or injuries. The fire has been localized. Extinguishing is in progress. I ask you to trust official sources of information and not to post videos from the scene of the incident in order to avoid adverse consequences,” the head of the Tuapse district wrote in his TG channel.
Despite his calls, videos and pictures of the fire appeared online.
At about five in the morning, the regional operational headquarters reported that the fire had been completely extinguished. 99 people and 31 pieces of equipment took part in the fire extinguishing effort, including 60 people and 17 pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The authorities did not say what exactly caused the fire, but the Baza tg channel, which specializes in incidents, suggests a UAV strike.
“According to the Base, at midnight the UAV hit the vacuum installation at the facility. Residents of Tuapse (this is the Krasnodar Territory) also report on social networks about the drone attack and share the video on social networks,” writes Baza.
The drone strike was also reported by the public “Two Majors,” which is considered close to the Border Service of the FSB of Russia. Moreover, it was indicated that attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones took place not only in the Krasnodar Territory.
“By nightfall, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the Bryansk region with UAVs four times. Numerous shellings of the Belgorod region continue. In Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory, an explosion and a large fire occurred at an oil refinery.
Flights were canceled at Sochi airport, local residents published footage of UAVs flying, the silhouette reminiscent of Ukrainian Beaver-type aircraft drones. In Donetsk (DPR), a civilian born in 1951 was wounded by a drop from a UAV,” says the TG channel’s morning report.
