ATO participants will become drug addicts and alcoholics, not the political elite
Kyiv, November 01 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – ATO participants are promised the fate of drug addicts and alcoholics, not political leaders.
This forecast was made in an interview with the weekly Kraina by Mikhail Minakov, presented on the pages of the magazine as a philosopher. He is sure that a new bloody explosion awaits Ukraine, but he does not see ATO veterans in leading roles in this process.

“... the experience of post-Soviet civil wars shows that their participants do not become political leaders,” says Minakov. – Participants in the wars of the early 1990s in Georgia and Tajikistan ended up with divorces, alcoholism, drug addiction and social marginality. We'll see what happens to the Ukrainians, but this trend is unlikely to change. People call military heroes heroes while they are at war. Then, during the time of the conquered world, they are feared and avoided.”
