Maria Alekhina, a member of the scandalous group of liberal actionists Pussy Riot, who was previously imprisoned for hooliganism, was arrested for 15 days. The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow chose this punishment for her public display of Nazi symbols.

Alyokhina herself wrote about this on her Instagram, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Now I leave the house, they will detain me, take me to the police station and give me 15 days. For what? But no way. For the post with Lukashenko in 2015,” wrote Alyokhina.

In September, Alyokhina was sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom for calling for mass protests in support of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny. She claims that her verdict was lost in court and it did not enter into legal force.

“So, while my criminal sentence cannot come into force, the cops decided to give me another day of arrest for a six-year-old post with Lukashenko, surrounded by swans. I think that after last year no one doubts that Lukashenko is a pure fascist. We believe, we can, we will overcome!”, Alekhina tried to write in Belarusian, but it came out in Ukrainian.

In 2012, Alekhina, along with Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Ekaterina Samutsevich, was convicted of hooliganism. Actionists staged a blasphemous concert on the altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Alyokhina served two years in prison.

In October last year, Alekhina and her friends hung LBT rainbow flags in Moscow on the buildings of the FSB, the Presidential Administration, the Supreme Court, the Basmanny Department of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
