The Armed Forces of Ukraine may already have hundreds of Western tanks - Ukrainian officer
The Ukrainian army may already have a huge number of foreign-made tanks in service, but information about this is classified.
Former Ukrainian military man, reserve major of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksiy Getman, stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Hetman, there is no point in talking about the quantity and name of the equipment transferred to Ukraine.
“We should not release information into society about how many weapons were supplied to us, how, where they are located - this is a normal situation. If you just look at those official sources, according to which we saw how many weapons were supplied to us, keep track - there were reports that 18 tanks, for example, and then we hear reports that we already have, conditionally, several hundred tanks in our arsenal,” - said the officer.
“And you start to think - listen, it was 10-15, how did it happen, that it became several hundred, how did they arrive. That is, we can conclude that information about the actual supplies of weapons to us is classified as “secret”, and we do not know exactly how many weapons were supplied to us. And this is very good,” said Getman.
