Kyiv, February 04 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine published a report according to which the militia is preparing to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops.

“The situation in the ATO zone remains difficult. The enemy is carrying out massive shelling of positions of anti-terrorist operation forces in the Debaltsevo and Severodonetsk directions, as well as in the area of the city of Shchastya and the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya. There is an accumulation of ammunition, weapons, military equipment and manpower of terrorists to repeat attempts at offensive actions in the Debaltsevo and Volnovakha directions. Over the past XNUMX hours, the militants have suffered losses in manpower and equipment – in particular, according to information from the operational command “North” in the area of the settlement. Yellow is the enemy’s infantry fighting vehicle,” the National Security and Defense Council sweetened the information emerging from militias and volunteers about Ukrainian losses.
According to Ukrainian security officials, the militias are trying to carry out active sabotage and reconnaissance actions along the demarcation line, as well as on infrastructure facilities and routes to supply ATO forces.
“Yesterday, in the Telmanovsky district of the Donetsk region, our military recorded a violation of airspace by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle, which was conducting aerial reconnaissance at a significant altitude,” the message says.
In turn, the militias report effective battles around Debaltseve: a number of settlements have been taken under control. In addition, it is reported that fortifications are being built to form the so-called “Debaltsevo cauldron.”
