The Main Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine began criminal proceedings on threats to the Chernihiv region prosecutor Viktor Nosenko from People's Deputy Oleg Lyashko.

“On July 15.07.2016, XNUMX, a video recording of threats from People’s Deputy of Ukraine O. Lyashko against the prosecutor of the Chernihiv region was distributed in the media. The pre-trial investigation in the specified criminal proceedings is carried out by the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, procedural management - by the Department of Procedural Management for Criminal Proceedings of investigators of the central apparatus of the Prosecutor General's Office," the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.
It is noted that urgent investigative and procedural actions are currently underway aimed at establishing the truth and ensuring a quick, complete and impartial investigation in accordance with the requirements of Art. Art. 2, 9, 28 Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.
In particular, a letter and summons were sent to the Verkhovna Rada to summon people's deputies of Ukraine, who, from the available materials, may be witnesses to the commission of a crime, to conduct investigative and procedural actions with their participation.
