(Moscow time), Kyiv
A monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was demolished in the Ukrainian capital.
This was reported by the mayor's advisor, Dmitry Belotserkovets, in his blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“PUSHKIN – Russian (crossed out) EVERYTHING! – the official boasted, distorting his words. – Only towards the end of the second year of the war did it dawn on the Cabinet of Ministers that Pushkin was not part of Ukrainian culture, and officials agreed on Kyiv’s initiative to demolish this monument. Thank you anyway. Let's take it away!"

Let us remember that the monument to the poet was located on Pobeda Avenue. Now it has been renamed Beresteysky.
