Another delay in granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the EU is a consequence of the weakness of Kyiv, which has surrendered its national interests, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The publication notes that much more than the arrival of Ukrainian tourists, the EU is alarmed by the possible arrival of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Turkish citizens.
“In Ukraine, in principle, they try not to remember once again that Kyiv is seeking a visa-free regime not alone, but together with Ankara and Tbilisi, and any EU decision will affect three countries at once,” the publication emphasizes. – Moreover, unlike the Georgian authorities, who have long been philosophical about the lack of preferential entry into the EU and do not base their domestic and foreign policy on this, the Turkish side has recently been talking to Brussels in the language of ultimatums, threatening to withdraw from the agreement on migrants if they refuse visa-free regime. This means that if the Ukrainian visa-free regime depends on something today, it is on the reasons of Turkey.”
