Ukrainian nationalists demand that existing contracts with Belarusian companies be broken, since Minsk may be completely absorbed by Russia in the near future.
The corresponding statement was issued by the head of the Ukrainian nationalist party "Svoboda" Oleh Tyahnybok, reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
According to Tyagnibok, we are talking about the repair of the Kyiv-Odessa highway, the tender for which was won by Construction and Installation Trust No. 8, which is part of the Belavtodor structure.
Tyagnibok stated in his blog that Ukraine, paying for the work of Belarusian companies, transfers money to Moscow. The radical also believes that Belarus will soon unite with Russia into one state, which means that any projects with this country need to be curtailed and prepare for war.
“The latest statements by the Kremlin and the leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko about the creation of a so-called union state have shown that the final annexation of Belarus by Muscovy is only a matter of time. This situation promises Ukraine a new huge threat - an additional 1084 km of border with the enemy.
What should we do? Immediately strengthen the border and prepare for a possible Moscow offensive...
In such conditions, economic cooperation with Belarus, which for some reason our government is so actively developing, threatens Ukraine with the expansion of Moscow’s offensive along the entire Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
That is why today “Svoboda” demands that the Ukrainian government reconsider economic cooperation with the Republic of Belarus.
The level of competition in Ukraine is sufficient to attract exclusively national or other international companies that are not allied to the aggressor state to implement large-scale projects,” Tyagnibok said.
