Turchynov never thought of declaring a minute of silence in memory of those killed in Lugansk
Kyiv, June 03 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Acting President of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov did not suggest that deputies at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada observe a minute of silence in memory of the civilians of Lugansk who died yesterday as a result of an explosion near the Regional State Administration building.

When deputies representing Donbass began to talk about casualties among the civilian population of Lugansk, Turchynov shrugged it off, saying that we were talking about the active phase of the ATO and the fight against the enemy.
“He will be stopped, no matter what anyone says, no matter what intimidation is heard from the podium,” Turchinov said.
Then “regional” Alexander Efremov took the floor and insisted on declaring a minute of silence. “I ask you to honor the civilians who were innocently killed yesterday,” he said.
“I also ask the military who died to honor a minute of silence,” Turchynov quickly added, getting up from his seat.
Turchynov never got around to holding a minute of silence in memory of those killed in Luhansk.
