Ukrainian experts do not understand why Roskomnadzor blocks Ukrainian websites for interviews with terrorists.

“Sites are blocked due to an incomprehensible logic,” said Irina Sedova, a representative of the Crimean Human Rights Group, at a press conference in Kyiv.

In particular, she does not understand why Gormadske Radio was blocked for an interview with the Kyiv cell of Hizb ut-Tahrir.

“She works here legally and does not pose any terrorist threats. They say that they are normal, not terrorists, they just have such a philosophy, they are Muslims, they have such a party. And for this, throughout Russia, not only in Crimea, Hromadske Radio was blocked by court decision. The situation is the same with Glavkom, it is blocked,” Sedova said.

Even in Ukrainian times, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea sharply opposed Hizb-ut-Tahrir, the main idea of which was the creation of a global Caliphate. The organization is recognized as terrorist in many Muslim countries.
