Aunt Tymoshenko: It’s not you and me who are enjoying the “fruits of the revolution”
Dnepropetrovsk, June 24 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional party organization of the VO “Batkivshchyna”, Yulia Tymoshenko’s aunt Antonina Ulyakhina, believes that the party members did not work hard during the presidential election campaign: the authorities interfered.

“I would very much like to begin my report with congratulations on his success, but our work, unfortunately, did not bring our leader the victory we all desired. Did we want her to win? They wanted. Have we done everything for her? It’s clear, not everything,” Ulyakhina said at an extended meeting of the party organization bureau.
“We still have a little time to reformat the headquarters, work out a new strategy and change tactics where they were unsuccessful and work for the elections of deputies at all levels,” added Aunt Tymoshenko, obviously speaking about the upcoming elections to the Verkhovna Rada, her publication quotes "Faces".
According to her, during the election campaign there was not enough presence in the region of influential, charismatic VIP speakers and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, who could directly convey to the voter the ideas and plans of the party leader.
Also, Aunt Tymoshenko admitted that the agreement to perform on the Maidans of the Dnepropetrovsk region without party symbols was a mistake, “and today it is not you and me who are enjoying the fruits of the revolution, unfortunately.”
Ulyakhina announced a “disappointing result” on the appointments of party members to government agencies.
“Regarding the appointment of our party members, on the recommendation of party bureaus, approved by the public for the positions of heads of the Regional State Administration, the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor's office, and heads of departments, as many as 4 people were “promoted” to the Regional State Administration and one was given an acting position. Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for work with teenagers,” said Ulyakhina.
At the same time, she also blamed the authorities and a little the party leader himself for Tymoshenko’s loss: in the Dnepropetrovsk region there are cities where Yulia Tymoshenko has never set foot in all her political activities.
“You say that it’s hard to hold meetings with the population without financial support, it’s hard to maintain offices, it’s hard to meet with villagers in villages where there is no transport, it’s hard to work in an area where all the authorities put all their efforts into fighting the only party - our party VO "Batkivshchyna" Because, as a systemic opposition, we were practically the only ones working,” said the head of the regional party organization.
Ulyakhina noted that local media, controlled by the Party of Regions, actually created an information vacuum around Batkivshchyna.
“The final result of our candidate for the presidency of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko, was significantly influenced by the general military-political situation in Ukraine. Thus, in conversations with voters, it became clear that they do not see a woman at the head of the state. A firm male hand is needed,” Ulyakhina reported.
As Navigator reported, according to psychologist Viktor Rybachenko, Yulia Tymoshenko lost the presidential election because she “fought too much.” In addition, the Ukrainians held her team responsible for the “surrender of Crimea and Donbass.”
