Tymoshenko was delighted with the photographs of “those who died on the fronts with the Russian Federation”
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko visited Lviv on the eve of the local elections and showered her with compliments on the capital of Western Ukraine.
So, on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, she told how she visited a local church and saw there photographs of Maidan workers and participants of the punitive operation against the Donbass republics who died in Donbass, for whom they pray every day.
“In general, it is very important and pleasant for me to be in Lviv. You know, from the first steps, when I came into politics, I always believed that Lvov is the soul, the heart of Ukraine. This is the barricade that will never let through anything that is contrary to the interests of Ukraine, that is contrary to the defense of our nation, this is such an important outpost. Today here I am breathing this air, deeply Ukrainian in everything. It is very nice.
And in the morning I was very lucky, I visited the Church of Peter and Paul, also called the Garrison Church. This is a unique achievement of Ukrainian culture. I was simply delighted with what wonderful things there are in Lviv, what beautiful churches. But the most important thing is that I saw photographs there of those who died on the Maidan, this is our “heavenly hundred,” and they pray for them every day.
I saw those wonderful heroes of ours who died for the freedom of Ukraine now on the fronts with the Russian Federation,” Tymoshenko said.
