“We need to stop pronouncing “ATO” like a mantra. This is not an ATO, but a war. This fraud must be stopped and Article 106 of the Constitution must be implemented and martial law must be introduced in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This is the first step towards peace, because it is the protection of our citizens living in the occupied territory, it is the protection of our military, who today are absolutely unfoundedly accused of looting, when they actually fulfill their obligations to protect the state.
And we must finally recognize the occupied territories as occupied, and not call them “effectively controlled territories of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.” The world will understand that we really understood this war and began to defend ourselves,” Tymoshenko said.
