Now fighters of nationalist battalions can retire early - new law
The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading bill No. 3252, which allows the appointment of direct participants in hostilities in the Donbass early retirement pension.

According to the document, the retirement age for participants in the punitive operation in Donbass is: 55 years for men, 50 years for women. The condition is to have an insurance period of at least 25 years for men and at least 20 years for women.
237 deputies voted for the adoption of the bill as a whole.
The corresponding right is also granted to wives (husbands), if they have not remarried, and to the parents of military personnel, senior and rank-and-file employees of internal affairs bodies who died after dismissal from service due to an illness associated with direct participation in the so-called ATO ” in Donbass.
The list also includes fighters from nationalist volunteer units.
