Russian war correspondent Alexander Sladkov stated this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Sladkov, the words of SVO commander Sergei Surovikin about readiness to make difficult decisions on Kherson were misleading and forced the enemy to launch several attacks that were extremely unsuccessful for him.
“We are ready for difficult decisions on Kherson.” How did we understand? That's it, we're leaving, suitcase, station, from Kherson. It turned out, as I understand it, that we deceived the enemy. They immediately, about 10 hours later, went on the offensive, and there was defloration, so to speak. Failed. The second time they went, they didn’t succeed, the third, fifth, tenth time, they couldn’t,” said the military correspondent.
“Firstly, we won two weeks exactly in Kherson. We need the time. Second, as I understand it, we are creating a fortress city there, and this is very serious. A fortress that is a supporting monument for movement further to Odessa and Transnistria, a fortress that protects Crimea, a fortress that in the near future cuts off the territory that is subject to Zelensky from the Black Sea. It’s a serious thing,” said Sladkov.
