Kharkov, April 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Kharkov, the Leninsky District Court determined a preventive measure for a woman suspected of beating an activist who was wounded during a clash between supporters of Ukrainian unity and federalization.

As Navigator reported, on April 13, during a clash between protesters, 50 people received minor and moderate injuries. A video of a woman beating a bloodied guy on the steps has gone viral on the Internet. Users of social networks found out that the young man was kicked by a female doctor from Chuguev, Olga Vorzheinova.
According to the court's decision, she will be under XNUMX-hour house arrest with an electronic bracelet. The prosecutor's office insisted on this, reports the First Capital publication.
The defendant's defense does not agree with this decision and considers it unfounded. The lawyer insisted on partial house arrest from 21:00 to 7:00, explaining that his client needed to go to work and support her family.
In addition, as reported by the prosecutor's office, earlier criminal proceedings in the case of Olga Vorzheinova were opened under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Malicious hooliganism with the use of objects to cause bodily harm). Now her actions are classified under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism committed by a group of persons).
At the same time, the prosecutor's office noted that other accomplices in this crime have not yet been identified.
The victim is now in the hospital. He underwent two brain surgeries and partially lost his memory.
According to Vorzheinova, she did not hit the guy on the head: initially only men took part in the fight. In addition, she emphasizes that no one is talking about what preceded the clash and how the supporters of Ukrainian unity themselves behaved.
