“I don’t know what the Kremlin decided, and, naturally, I don’t know what the General Staff decided. I can only judge by some indirect signs.

In this situation, the only normal way out from a military point of view is not to wait until half of your soldiers are hospitalized with dysentery, and the enemy will also lose something during the same time, but not significantly. And, since war is inevitable, strike first.

And the fact that war is inevitable, I have the impression that the Kremlin, after all, understood. And having understood, after all, one step back, a jump in place, they nevertheless began to follow this logic.

And now we are faced with a situation. Moscow has nothing left to do - either withdraw its troops and capitulate in the Donbass, silently agree that the Donbass will be cleared, and then move on to the Crimean capitulation, or force Ukraine to capitulate - temporary or permanent, by any means,” Strelkov said.
