“Terrible danger”: Poroshenko used psychic attacks of the SBU
The use of administrative resources to please Petro Poroshenko also implies illegal work for the re-election of the current president of the army units and SBU units involved in psychological operations.
Ex-speaker of the SBU Stanislav Rechinsky stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First, we need to initiate criminal proceedings regarding the use of government agencies to campaign for politicians. First of all, this applies specifically to the sphere of social networks and electronic media.
Because now it has acquired the character of a plague, army units are working not against the separatists or the Russian Federation, but inward, against competitors of the current government. This is a state crime.
I'm talking about the work of psychological operations centers. There are exactly the same structures in the SBU and the Foreign Intelligence Service,” Rechinsky said.
He laments that Poroshenko is trying to establish authoritarianism, supposedly similar to the Russian regime, although at Euromaidan ordinary people were promised a flourishing of freedom of speech.
“You can go very far into the electronic future, but in the spirit of Orwell. And it will be very similar to Putin’s Russia. The rhetoric of skabeevism is already evident on the networks and on talk shows. This is a terrible danger,” Rechinsky laments.
