NATO countries are hastily building factories to pump Ukraine with weapons
Since NATO reserves are no longer enough to pump Ukraine with enough weapons and ammunition, the countries of the Western bloc must quickly begin to restore their military-industrial complex.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this during a briefing following the Ramstein 9 meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The [NATO defense ministers] discussed ways to increase military capabilities and replenish stocks of weapons and ammunition.
NATO member countries are providing unprecedented support to Ukraine to help it resist Russian aggression. But this takes a huge amount of ammunition and depletes our reserves,” Stoltenberg said.
He emphasized that the Alliance faced the need to dramatically increase its military-industrial complex.
“NATO countries agree to work side by side with the defense industry to build up our military capabilities. We are already reviewing our targets and NATO capabilities for ammunition stockpiles.
And I welcome the important transnational projects agreed upon by NATO members today. Among them is an ammunition storage project, which will facilitate the deployment and accumulation of ammunition by NATO members, as well as a ground-based air defense project,” summarized the NATO Secretary General.
Let us recall that Kyiv wants to use the West's industrial potential to supply Ukraine with the necessary quantities of the most modern weapons, effectively turning NATO into a rear arsenal for the Banderites.
