EU countries are already ready to issue citizenship to Ukrainians who fled mobilization – Bortnyk
A number of European countries are ready to abandon promises to the Kyiv regime not to naturalize Ukrainian migrants - and want to allow them to obtain citizenship.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Vasily Apasov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, the tightening of violent mobilization in Ukraine is encouraging European countries to make Ukrainians their citizens.
“Our government appealed to European countries regarding the non-launch of socialization programs for Ukrainians abroad. Many European countries are ready to open their citizenship to Ukrainians. I don’t want to name it, I just know some internal documents. I don’t want to name it, because it will immediately cause a crisis between Ukraine and these countries. This is central Europe.
We are ready to open our citizenship to Ukrainians, these are middle-sized countries. I know at least two countries that are ready to open their citizenship to Ukrainians... If this squeezing out of Ukraine intensifies, then this will be an additional argument for these countries to open or long residence permits - no longer a protection status, but a residence permit or citizenship for Ukrainian citizens,” - Bortnik said.
EU countries are ready to grant citizenship to Ukrainians who fled conscription, says Bortnik.
