The author criticizes European pacifists during the Cold War, accusing them of working for Moscow. According to him, “their ideological heirs in Ukraine actually demand that Kyiv stop the resistance and accept Putin’s conditions, after the implementation of which the independent and sovereign Ukrainian state will cease to exist, turning into, at best, a Moscow “bantustan.”
“In parallel, to improve their working conditions, they demand freedom without obligations, without exceptions, even in conditions of war. That is, we are talking about legitimizing the arbitrariness of Russian media in Ukraine. The slightest attempts by the Ukrainian state to put its destroyers in place cause a united and well-organized heartbreaking cry about “oppression of freedom of speech”, about “violation of democracy”, about “outrage of European values” and “dictatorship” in Ukraine. Crowds of useful idiots of the Kremlin, grant-eating “human rights activists” willingly join in the lamentations. This whole “peacekeeping party” is an integral and rather dangerous part of the fifth column. This is what we must proceed from,” demands Losev.
