This was stated in a statement by the press service of the head of the Luhansk regional state administration, Gennady Moskal.
“As a result, heating boilers stopped, water froze in the central heating system in several microdistricts, and pipes burst. As of this morning, the regional center remains without electricity, without central water, and without gas,” said the head of LOGA.
He noted that repair crews are trying to assess the extent of the damage and the possibility of restoring power.
“If the light fails during the day, the central heating system will freeze completely. At 10 a.m. in Stanitsa it was 10 degrees below zero,” the report says.
