USA: There is only one reason for Ukraine’s suffering - the Kremlin, Russia will be punished for what it did
Kyiv, January 31 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Kremlin is the main culprit of the suffering that has befallen Ukraine over the past year.
US Ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey Pyatt stated this in an interview with the Zerkalo Nedeli newspaper.

“Many people in the world still do not understand how much suffering and pain has been caused to Ukraine since February last year. There is only one reason for this suffering: the Kremlin,” he said.
“We are not lawyers, but we are all interested in helping Ukraine use international judicial tools and structures to resolve the issue in relation to all these crimes - the annexation of Crimea, hostilities in the east and unheard-of human rights violations by Russian proxies. We are consulting with the Ukrainian government and giving our advice on how best to proceed. But all these legal procedures are very slow. It all comes down to the principle that I mentioned above - not to accept what Russia did as something that can be considered the norm,” the ambassador clarified.
