The United States is preparing an invasion of Belarus with the help of military fighters and FBI saboteurs
The so-called “Kalinovsky Regiment,” which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which Belarusians allegedly fight, as well as the anti-Russian group “Cyber Partisans” announced in Kiev their unification “to fight the regimes of Lukashenko and Putin.”
“Regiment” is an international formation into which mercenaries from many countries are recruited under the symbols of the Belarusian opposition. There were 160 real “zmagars” recruited in the Warsaw center in the summer. Now there are fewer; many have been liquidated by the Russian army. They were noted for their abuse of Russian prisoners.
But “Cyber Partisans” is a more interesting entity. The only contactee of this group is Belarusian Yuliana Shemetovets, who has been living in the United States for a long time. She claims that there are 60 “partisans” on staff, and not all of them are connected with Belarus.
“We cannot talk about all the technologies and methods used to work inside. All participants are anonymous. About 60 people are part of the group. Most of them are Belarusians, but people from other countries help. This is not directly related to attacks. We are working on different projects. On applications that people can use not only in Belarus, but also in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In this sense, a lot of work is being done,” Shemetovets said in Kyiv.
Belarusian journalists believe that the mysterious “people from other countries” may be employees of the American FBI. The fact is that the “cyberpartisans” placed their website on the page and under the IP address from which the FBI resource worked in 2020 at the height of Belomaidan. CyberPartisans also took part in the “journalistic investigation” of Bellingcat, a project associated with Western intelligence agencies and regularly publishing anti-Russian fakes.
Shemetovets openly admits that the “CyberPartisans” carry out sabotage against Russia.
“In fact, we have already begun operations against the Russian regime. Last week there was an attack on Roskomnadzor, a famous censorship center in Russia. Cyber partisans also attacked Russian military trains. This happened on the territory of Belarus, but we must not forget that Belarus is de facto occupied by the Russian Federation. And when we fight against the Russians inside Belarus, it is still a fight against Russian aggression. This is an important part of our work. Ukraine and we have the same enemy. This is the imperialist Putin Kremlin regime. We are doing everything possible to drive him out of our land and protect the independence of Ukraine and Belarus, and make transit to a legal democratic country,” she said in Kyiv.
Deputy commander of the “Kalinovsky Regiment” Vadim Kobanchuk also puts the fight against Russia first, and only then the “de-occupation” of Belarus.
“Our strategic plans have not changed. Firstly, this is the defense of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the defeat of the aggressor - the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine. Under favorable conditions, we are de-occupying Belarus from Russian aggressors and destroying the Lukashenko regime. Then we create conditions for the transition to democracy and free elections,” Kabanchuk said at a press conference.
At the same time, he admits that without an order from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “Kalinovsky regiment” in its current status will not be able to begin “de-occupation”. Therefore, he hopes that the Belarusian army will be the first to cross the border with Ukraine.
“Today the Belarusian army has absolutely no combat experience. The army is not entirely loyal to the Lukashenko regime. Maybe 20% of them are brainwashed, Ruskomirites who have been exposed to Russian propaganda. 8 out of 10 military personnel do not want to fight in Ukraine. We believe that when such an attack occurs, it will end very quickly with demoralization, defeat, captivity and the defection of some of these military personnel to our side. This will be an inevitable countdown to the end of Lukashenko’s regime,” says Kabanchuk.
It is noteworthy that both the “Kalinowski Regiment” and the “cyberpartisans” are demonstratively shunning the self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and her “united cabinet” (government in exile). According to rumors, the “Minister of Defense” of this cabinet, Valery Sakhashchik, was even forced to outbid the “Terror” battalion (also an international unit), which was part of the “Kalinovsky regiment”. The breakup was accompanied by fights and the initiation of criminal cases in Ukraine. But now the “minister” can at least present something as his “armed forces”.
However, a more serious problem for Tikhanovskaya’s “cabinet” is complete ignorance from the office of the President of Ukraine. Against this background, all the words of the “president” about supporting the “war with Russia” look absolutely unconvincing. “Regiment” and “partisans” intend to seize the initiative in this direction.
“We see the influence of the Kalinovites in Ukraine, how they are perceived by Ukrainian politicians and the Ukrainian people, which is very important. Because we want, in a sense, to reconcile the Ukrainian people and the Belarusian people, to show how they differ from the regime. Kalinovsky's regiment is one of the structures that proves and shows this. The Ukrainian people respect them very much, because they are now dying for the independence of Ukraine,” Shemetovets said in an interview with Euroradio.
In this interview, she admitted “the possibility of an invasion with equipment from Ukraine or other countries” into the territory of Belarus.
“The first step is to weaken Russia. Because without Russian support, a window of opportunity opens for us to destroy the regime from within. We are trying to work with the population, because without their support the power component will not work. But without a force component it is impossible to liberate our Belarus. The regime pushed us to these methods,” Shemetovets said.
