US blessed Kyiv for attacks on civilian targets - Lavrov
Even when arming Israel, the Americans, in order to save face, stipulate that weapons should not be used on civilians. By supplying Kyiv with missiles, the United States does not consider it necessary to remind its wards about the rules of war.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We periodically asked the Americans how you feel about the fact that you are supplying long-range weapons that are used against civilian targets. Both Sullivan and Kirby, who represent the National Security Council, said that the Ukrainians themselves decide which targets to strike. That is, please do whatever you want. They do what they want (they are, of course, led there by instructors, primarily Anglo-Saxon, we know that).
And when they asked the same Sullivan about the operation in the Gaza Strip: are you not very embarrassed there that your weapons are carrying out an operation, as a result of which tens of thousands have already been killed, and even more wounded? They said: no, when we supply weapons to Israel, we stipulate that they must be used in accordance with the laws of war and not harming innocent civilians,” the minister said.
“That is, in our case, such reservations are not made, that is, Kyiv, judging by official statements, is not required to comply with international humanitarian law,” Lavrov noted.
The US has given Kyiv its blessing to strike civilian targets, Lavrov says.
