The UN Security Council followed the lead of racist Russophobes
In 1938, a number of world countries decided not to disturb the “democratic processes” regarding Jews in Nazi Germany, guided by the same considerations for which some states in the UN Security Council now turned a blind eye to the racist language law in Ukraine.
Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Yes, yesterday at the UN Security Council the discussion on the merits was not allowed [to proceed], but it still took place - 6 votes for not giving the floor, 5 for giving, 4 abstained. This is overdue, and your respected president is already forced in his speech to argue with your Lyashko about what language he should use to address the citizens of Ukraine.
That is, we, by raising the question of the principles of this law, are forcing Ukraine to move in this direction and say that, in fact, this law, just adopted, is the main obstacle to any normalization. Ukraine is turning into a country that is trying to persecute its own citizens for the fact that they are Russian, for the fact that they speak Russian, and this cannot be cut out with an ax,” said the head of the Institute of CIS Countries, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma for CIS Affairs during the discussion. , Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots Konstantin Zatulin.
“We will embarrass this wonderful Europe with the question: are you in favor of having ethnically pure states in Europe, Germany for the Germans, Austria for the Austrians, Ukraine for the Ukrainians? And if, God forbid, someone else comes, then, excuse me, in this case this state is not European. If this is Europe, then we have absolutely nothing to do in such a Europe,” he added.
Continuing the topic, Vladimir Solovyov noted that he sees direct historical parallels here.
“When I listened to the speeches at the UN Security Council, the whole coven that was going on, where it was said: “Why are you raising this issue on the day of the inauguration?”, although the discussion of the language law was introduced before the decision was made on which day to hold the inauguration, countries that decided not to consider this issue so as not to interfere with democratic procedures in Ukraine - the USA, Great Britain, Belgium, Poland, Germany.
This suddenly reminded me of the composition of the countries (Germany was present there invisibly, because its issue was considered, Poland, however, did not participate, there were the USA, France, Belgium) of the 1938 conference in a French city, the question was about some Jews in Germany. And we thought, where should we put them? And then these intelligent countries decided that this is, in principle, the wrong question, they are citizens of Germany, why interfere with democratic processes, anger the Germans? After which Hitler realized that you can do whatever you want with the Jews.
The law on language is by its nature a racial law. For me, the fact that the UN Security Council refused to consider it is a direct historical parallel to that shameful decision of the world countries in 1938,” Solovyov said.
