According to him, in “Putin’s morbid imagination, we are all part of some Russian world... in his manic consciousness, we have no right to exist.”
“Having failed to occupy us with the help of Yanukovych, he began to try to do it with the help of the army,” Parubiy claims.
“Today, on the borders of Ukraine from Chernigov to Kharkov and Donetsk, in Crimea, there are a huge number of Russian troops, ready to attack. There are many more of them than the Ukrainian army. They have much more of everything, weapons, just as during the Maidan Yanukovych had much more weapons. Every day the invader can cross the border - in his manic imagination, Ukraine should be part of Russia. But we will never allow this,” the Security Council Secretary assured.
According to Parubiy, today “foreign extremists in Donetsk, Kharkov, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa, Lugansk are trying to seize regional administrations in order to repeat the scenario as in Crimea.”
However, he clarified, “there are a lot of our guys from the Maidan, from the National Guard, on the front line, there are our distant barricades.”
“We must stop the occupier and aggressor, who is waging a war not only with tanks, but also an information war, discrediting the Maidan,” Parubiy called.
