A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier shot and killed a Kharkov resident right in a supermarket
The Krasnozavodsk court in Kharkov sentenced a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier to three years in prison for a murder committed right in a supermarket.
This was reported by the Glavnovosti portal , citing the verdict published in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.

The accused stated at the trial that, while on leave, late in the evening in July 2015, he “rested” with his commander, a lieutenant, in one of the cafes not far from the ATB supermarket. A group of ten “local” guys began to show aggression towards them.
The lieutenant disappeared somewhere, his pistol ended up in the soldier’s possession, and, fleeing persecution, the soldier ended up in a supermarket, hoping that the guards would help him.
According to eyewitnesses, a soldier ran into the supermarket and was being chased by a group of men. Suddenly turning around, the young man shot one of the men in the stomach, and then ran out of the store and disappeared in an unknown direction.
After the ambulance left, the supermarket workers washed the blood off the floor and tried to continue working. The victim died on the way to the hospital.
The soldier was identified thanks to surveillance camera footage.
At the trial, it turned out that before being drafted, the accused was registered with a psychiatrist for a whole year, from 2013 to 2014, due to behavioral disorders due to alcohol use.
