The next assault in Kyiv will be on the Poroshenko administration
Mikheil Saakashvili’s activities in Ukraine are not aimed at overthrowing President Petro Poroshenko, but at forcing him to voluntarily resign. Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on Vesti FM radio.

“Actually, it is necessary for Poroshenko to leave on his own. As a last resort, some kind of impeachment, but better voluntarily. The West does not want to make another coup. Then there are such costs for legitimizing these coups. They do not yet have sanctions from the Americans for another public coup,” Kulikov said.
He interprets the attempt by Saakashvili's supporters to take the October Palace as a show of force, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“He showed that if Poroshenko does not leave voluntarily, then next time they will storm the presidential administration. Therefore, it is better to enter into negotiations. They are now trying to explain to Pyotr Alekseevich through various channels that it is better to agree on the terms of his departure,” Kulikov said.
In his opinion, no one is going to delay Poroshenko until the next elections, since any elections in Ukraine are fraught with instability.
“I think that the American curators expect that after Poroshenko leaves, some kind of temporary management regime will be introduced. Interim government headed by Saakashvili. To accommodate this, it is necessary to revise the constitution and create a parliamentary republic,” Kulikov said.
