The total value of assets of Ukrainian state-owned enterprises is 1 trillion 604 billion hryvnia.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maxim Nefedov announced this today during a government meeting, the Government Portal reports.
“The value of all state assets is UAH 1 trillion 604 billion,” Nefedov said.
At the same time, according to him, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to sell off the remnants of state property and leave only 15 particularly important enterprises in state ownership.
“Financial problems of state-owned enterprises end up becoming budget problems and suck up funds that could be used for more important things than saving chronically unprofitable businesses. That is why we need to radically reduce the number of state-owned enterprises, and transfer some of them into concessions,” Nefedov assures.
