The absence of any comments from the command about the exchange of the Nazi "Tyra" that outraged the public creates the impression that the Russian authorities do not conduct SVO on weekends.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov stated this during a discussion evening of the association in St. Petersburg, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation with Tyra is a perfect illustration of incompetent work with society. To begin with, our propagandists pumped up an incomprehensible mythology. It is completely unclear whether it is true or not, whether she took someone hostage or not. And then, as a result of an intra-elite agreement, something happened. And the Kyiv side dealt a powerful psychological blow. Wars are not informational, but primarily cognitive.
They are aimed at hitting society and plunging it into a state of depression, division and everything else. The illustration with “Tyra” is the best example of how ineptly we work with our society,” said Uralov.
The political scientist called on the Russian government to begin building a constructive dialogue with the people.
“Our bosses like it when 80% (of the population - ed.) support - hurray-hurray. And when the situation is difficult, it turns out that we cannot explain it. Tomorrow, perhaps, we’ll explain - why don’t they work for us on weekends? We don't have a special operation on the weekend? We're tracking down. It's nonsense!
The situation with “Tyra” exposed our generational mistake. I always say that world order means peace in society, order in the state. We can ensure order in the state, but peace in society is a complete mess. We cannot honestly learn to talk to our society. And even if there is something, you just need to honestly come out and talk about it,” the expert emphasized.
