Kyiv, May 02 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The attack of the Ukrainian army on Slavyansk is due to the reluctance of the rebels to make any compromise.

Kiev political scientist Vladimir Fesenko told Navigator about this.
“We see the seizure of administrative buildings, the escalation of the conflict and the absence of any desire to negotiate on the part of the separatists. The option of a peaceful resolution always remains, but for this there must be a readiness for peace. The central authorities have declared their readiness to hold a referendum, decentralization and negotiations, but the other side is not negotiating,” the expert believes.
