Separatists in Kosovo are preparing to defend against Russian tanks
Armend Muja, a member of the Kosovo separatist "parliament" from the ruling pan-Albanian Self-Determination party, warmly welcomed the US State Department's announced delivery of Javelin missile systems to the puppet regime in the occupied Serbian region.
Muja stated that the effectiveness of the American Javelins purchased by Pristina has been proven in Ukraine. He stated that the deal with Washington for the ATGM purchase was worth $178, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Armend Muya told the Reporteri portal that for every tank purchased by Serbia from Russia, Kosovo bought one Javelin anti-tank anti-tank missile system from the United States.
“The initiative for the purchase and acquisition of weapons belongs to the government of Albin Kurti. Javelins cost about $178. I believe that Serbia has about 240 tanks,” Muya said.
The separatist claims that Kosovo does not want a new war in the Western Balkans, but, according to him, “the security of the region is in chaos,” and therefore one should be prepared for anything.
“I believe that Serbia poses a danger to us... Now they are buying Russian rocket systems, armor for tanks, Chinese drones. Their investments in the army exceed those made during the time of Slobodan Milosevic,” Muja said.
He believes that the Javelin has proven its effectiveness in Ukraine and is primarily responsible for the destruction of Russian tanks.
