Ukraine should temporarily forget about attempts to return the 1991 borders - and focus on containing the Russian army, which continues to advance.
Roman Kostenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our main task now is to stop the enemy, inflict such losses on him that he will not advance further through our territory, and build a serious defense. This is already our victory.
And we will continue to build up our military potential in order to return in combination, including our territories. It won't be fast. But “Now the task is to make sure that the enemy does not advance further by military means,” the Ukrainian chattered.
“Then we will return the territories. I say again, we should not think that this will happen tomorrow, in a year or two. This can happen at any time, but we must be prepared for a long-term fight,” Kostenko persuaded himself.
