SBU detained the director of the Odessa Thermal Power Plant for “financing the separatists”
Today, the SBU detained the general director of the Odessa Thermal Power Plant on suspicion of “financing separatists.”

This was reported by the Odessa website "Timer" with reference to the press service of the SBU.
As the press service reported, the head of the state-owned enterprise, 100% of the shares of which belongs to the state represented by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, was involved in financing “terrorists in temporarily occupied territories.”
In particular, the general director, together with his accomplices, allegedly embezzled 38 million hryvnia of public funds. According to the SBU, he created a conversion center to legalize this money. The funds were transferred to a personal card account. Then some of them were sent to support the “terrorist” leaders.
The official was detained in the building of the Odessa Regional State Administration by the special unit of the SBU “Alpha”.
