Kharkov, January 20 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The Security Service of Ukraine, as part of an anti-terrorist operation, began searches and detentions of suspects in terrorist attacks in Kharkov.

Advisor to the head of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky reported this on his Facebook page.

“An operational-investigative group consisting of employees of the SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor’s office, as part of an anti-terrorist special operation, on the basis of open criminal proceedings and in accordance with a court decision, began searches and detentions in Kharkov,” he said.

“The searches are being carried out at many addresses, including the location of the office of the anti-Ukrainian organization “Exodus”, in the premises of its leaders and activists. There are the first arrests,” Lubkivsky noted.

As PolitNavigator reported, an explosion occurred yesterday near the Moskovsky District Court in Kharkiv , injuring 13 people. Law enforcement officials classified the incident as a terrorist attack. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced anti-terrorist measures . The Right Sector claims the attack was directed specifically at its members.
