She stated this in an interview with the Polish publication Krytyka Polityczna.

“I am ready to take responsibility for the country and take part in the presidential elections. In addition, my political force will participate in the parliamentary elections (“Socio-political platform of Nadezhda Savchenko” - Ed.). God, how terrible this sounds coming from a politician,” the deputy said.

Savchenko said that she does not believe in political parties, but hopes that her “fresh” political force “will be able to reboot the sick Ukrainian system of power.”

Commenting on the question of the drop in ratings from 12% to 1-2%, Savchenko said: “I don’t know where you are getting these numbers from.”

“It is probably not my support that is measured, but television, the rhetoric of the president, Yulia Tymoshenko and other politicians, including European ones, who spoke about me. My image and I are two different things,” she noted, adding that she “tests her support on the street.”

Let us remember that in 2014, Savchenko entered the Verkhovna Rada on the Batkivshchyna list. Then she was expelled from the faction and recalled from the Ukrainian delegation to PACE. Soon after this, she was announced as the leader of the public platform RUNA (Revolution of the Ukrainian People), but already in February the cooperation was terminated due to “differences in the vision of the basic ideological and structural-organizational foundations.” On April 13, Savchenko created the “Socio-Political Platform of Nadezhda Savchenko” party.

As PolitNavigator already reported, Savchenko complained that the Ministry of Justice did not want to register her party under false pretexts.
