Saakashvili will try to sell his party to the new US President
Odessa Governor Saakashvili, who announced his resignation today, will try to present himself to Washington as a replacement for Yatsenyuk.

The editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian online newspaper “Strana” Igor Guzhva told PolitNavigator about this.
“Saakashvili could resign because he is preparing for early parliamentary elections and, against the background of the far from brilliant results of his governorship, decided to begin his career as a party leader with a loud resignation,” Guzhva noted. – Now he will try to create his own party, uniting around himself the pro-Maidan forces dissatisfied with the authorities, and then “sell” this project to the new US President as the only real pro-Western force in Ukraine. They say that the Americans should bet on her, and not on Poroshenko or Yatsenyuk.”
“But there is a second version: the authorities deliberately provoked Saakashvili to make this statement by taking several steps that were unpleasant for him. In order not to fire him by presidential decree, they made sure that he left on his own, freeing up a position that could then be given (or sold) to the right people,” Guzhva added.
