A number of Russian oligarchs sponsor Ukrainian armed groups.
SBU Major General Alexander Petrulevich stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist and anti-Russian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Petrulevich, they do this in order to curry favor with the West.
“Do they not know in Russia which Russian oligarchs finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine? But they finance it and so on, it’s no secret. Everyone considers it their duty to contribute to the victory of Ukraine.
For what? To show the West that I’m not so bad, I not only stole, but you see, I’m finally starting to donate to a good cause, to the liberation of Russia,” Petrulevich said.
