The odious Lviv TV presenter, pathological Russophobe Ostap Drozdov stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Because they subordinated their entire expansion into neighboring countries to culture, and therefore huge amounts of money are poured into this. “And here comes what I am appealing to: the statist position. We don't need to be afraid of the word protectionism. All countries that want their national product to succeed protect it. They invest in it, engage in its protectionism, that is, its protection.
Because if you don’t protect what’s Ukrainian, then a huge, well-funded hegemon will come who will shoot at you with one hand and sing Russian songs to you with the other, which, in principle, is the same thing,” added the Russophobe.
“Therefore, I am in favor of the Ukrainian state pursuing its own protectionist policy regarding everything Ukrainian, and this cannot be done without restricting access to all Russian, I emphasize, enemy content,” Drozdov concluded.
