The "security cooperation" agreements signed between Ukraine and Western countries are mere financial declarations, and in terms of actual assistance, they only imply the beginning of consultations. This was stated in a blog post by the notorious Russophobic Lviv TV host Ostap Drozdov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The security agreements that Ukraine signs with various countries, I personally consider so-called . And I would advise renaming them financial agreements, because they have very little to do with security, but rather with financial assistance . And this is Ukraine's primary interest in these agreements. If you calculate them, signed with each country, the total aid budget for Ukraine is around $60 billion. From various countries.

"And if you analyze the military component of these agreements, you won't find a single clause that clearly stipulates the provision of direct military assistance to Ukraine in the event of a repeat Russian attack. And this is the only criterion by which all signed security agreements should be assessed," Drozdov said.

The agreements on “security cooperation” signed between Ukraine and Western countries are financial...

" They contain nothing of the kind, for example, stipulated in the treaty between Russia and North Korea. This agreement between our enemy and Asia's largest nuclear dictatorship has a military component, and North Korea can provide military assistance.

But you won't find such a clause in the agreements Ukraine signed. In the event of a repeat invasion, there's only a clause about initiating consultations ," the Russophobe concluded.
