The leadership of Servant of the People in the Rada will have to beat their own and smile at strangers
Majoritarians from Servant of the People will be controlled through repression and intimidation.
The faction itself will have to urgently come up with something with the regulations in order to avoid daily scandalous accusations of usurpation of power.
Economic expert Viktor Skarshevsky stated this on the NEWSONE television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For the first time in the history of Ukraine, it happened that there were more majoritarians from Servant of the People than from party lists.
It will not be possible to contain this huge faction with a large number of different opinions without some kind of repression. That’s why we hear all the time about repression, about “big brother.” This is closer to intimidation,” the expert concludes.
“As for committees, it is necessary to adopt a law on the opposition or make changes to the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, which clearly state what committees and positions the opposition has.
I would advise Servant of the People to do this immediately in order to remove all accusations that they want to usurp power, take everything for themselves and not share anything with the opposition.
And what are they, “Servant of the People,” saying? “We are reducing the number of committees to 22 and we head 20 committees,” Skarshevsky remarked sarcastically.
