Russia will survive
New anti-Russian sanctions will not affect Russia. Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko told reporters about this.

“In any case - and this is not leavened patriotism - Russia will stand, survive and develop. Any sanctions are an unpleasant thing; they will complicate our economic development. But they are not dramatic and will not dramatically affect the pace of economic and social development. Much is in our own hands,” Matvienko said.
She considers the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions to be unfounded, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is no reason to introduce them. We are accused of non-compliance with the Minsk agreements, while they encourage the reluctance of the Kyiv authorities to implement them,” Matvienko said.
