During today's strike, the Russian Armed Forces fired 81 missiles of various types at Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Air Force command reported this on its social media page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This night, the occupiers launched a massive missile attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. The launches were carried out from ten Tu-95 strategic aviation aircraft, seven Tu-22M3 long-range aviation aircraft, eight Su-35 fighters, six MiG-31K aircraft and three carriers of the Kalibr missile launcher in the Black Sea. In total, the enemy carried out 81 launches of missiles of various bases,” the report says.
It is stated that the following was carried out:
– 28 launches of air-launched cruise missiles X-101/X-555;
– 20 launches of sea-based cruise missiles “Caliber”;
– 6 launches of X-22 air-launched cruise missiles;
– 6 launches of air-launched cruise missiles Kh-47 “Dagger”;
– 8 launches of guided aircraft missiles: 2 – Kh-31P; 6 – X-59;
-13 launches of S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces added, 8 launches of attack UAVs were carried out.
“With the forces and means of the Air Force 3C of Ukraine in cooperation with units of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 48 cruise missiles, as well as 101 Shahed-555/34 UAVs, were destroyed out of 4 X-136/X-131, “Caliber” cruise missiles. As a result of organized counteraction, 8 guided aircraft missiles Kh-31P and Kh-59 did not reach their targets.
It is worth noting that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have any weapons capable of destroying the X-22 and X-47 Kinzhal and S-300,” admitted the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
