Russia has realized its strength. The West has nothing more to offer it - CIA analyst
Over the past year and a half, many Russians have realized that they do not need “friendship” with the West in order to continue to develop successfully.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, who recently returned from Russia, stated this in an interview with American lawyer Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This is what I saw when I was there: in two years, Russia seemed to wake up from a deep sleep. They were immersed in a slumber in which they believed that an alliance with the West would benefit them.
But then they woke up, looked around, and realized: “We have everything the West needs; The West doesn’t have anything we need, we don’t need McDonald’s.” They still make their own rocket engines,” Johnson said.
He emphasized that it is much more profitable for Russia to develop without “friendship” with the West.
“So they realized that across the board Russia is in a much stronger position by reorganizing its economy. They focused on trade with China, India, Brazil, Africa and other countries.
All of a sudden, it woke up the Russian economy and brought awareness to the fact that these guys have been tormenting us for years, and that we don’t have to put up with it anymore,” the CIA analyst concluded.
